Southside Virginia Community College, a comprehensive community college, is seeking a dynamic Software Applications Support Administrator to provide leadership and manage the high-quality operations of the college applications. This position will sustain the Applications Systems Software to include but not limited to Oracle/ PeopleSoft Applications of Student Information System (SIS), Human Resource System, and Administrative Information System; MySvcc; lssueTrak; and Workforce Enterprise System (WES) in support of college educational operations. This position is responsible for managing and administering the help desk functions for PeopleSoft and other software applications for the college in order to ensure continuous and reliable functionality to the students, faculty, administrators, and staff. Responsible for legal compliance, system performance, long-range planning, process documentation, internal auditing, and budgeting. Responsible for the planning and implementation of PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and fixes. Ensures database integrity by performing tests and running reports. Represent the college's interests at system-wide meetings/in systemÂwide workgroups. Serves as the application systems security officer. Provides Oracle/PeopleSoft training and functional assistance to end users.

Established in 1970, SVCC is one of the 23 colleges in the Virginia Community College System. The Christanna Campus near Alberta and the John H.
