This position is responsible for the initiation, review, and negotiation of Industry funded Sponsored Research Agreements. Industry funded and Clinical Trial Agreements, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, Data Use Agreements, and other forms of research related agreements. This position will work collaboratively with a wide range of internal stakeholders including the Office of the General Counsel, Office of Technology Development in addition to our faculty and a vast range of industry sponsors to ensure timely processing of contracts and agreements. This role will contribute to developing and implementing streamlined processes and communications to be responsive to an active and growing line of business. This position reports to the Director of Industry Contracting.
*BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of prior related contractual experience required; prior related contractual experience in an academic setting preferred
*Strong communication and analytical skills (verbal and written) as well as subject matter expertise are critical in this role.
*MBA or JD preferred.
