The Department of Computational Science and Engineering is seeking to hire tenured or tenure-track faculty at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professors. The candidates must have a PhD in Computational Science and Engineering, Data Sciences, Computer Science, Computer and Electrical Engineering, or other related fields; candidates whose PhD is granted in a STEM discipline and whose research and background have strong computational components are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to Computational Data Science and Engineering disciplines and have strong research experience or research promise in the areas of computational data science and engineering; visualization, modeling, and optimization of large and complex systems.
The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching graduate level courses, conducting independent and cutting edge research, student advising, mentoring and recruitment; curriculum development, providing service to the Department, College, and University, and other activities required for a successful academic career.

The Department of Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) provides academic preparation for students pursuing Masters of Science and Doctoral degrees. The research of the CSE Department leverages big data analysis, modeling and simulation, high performance computing and visualization to solution complex problems.
