Student Organization Advising and Resources/Student Media/Cultural Arts and Diversity (SOMeCA) is a unit of the Division of Student Success at UC Santa Cruz. SOMeCA is dedicated to the success of UCSC's campus-wide student organizations and government. SOMeCA supports the development of dynamic learning environments by offering mentorship, leadership training, organizational development advising, and event management services for student-initiated programs.
Under general supervision of the SOMeCA Assistant Director, the incumbent performs a variety of financial duties for the unit, trains, supervises, and informs students about fiscal management, and provides unit administrative support. The primary areas of responsibility are: Fiscal Coordination, Student Training and Supervision, and Administration.
