Posting Summary: This position will assist with the implementation of a smartphone application (app) designed to assist participants in the Women, Infants, and Children program (WIC) utilize their benefits and receive nutrition education. Candidate will primarily work with the development and delivery of a train-the-trainer program for staff of the WIC program across Tennessee. Program delivery methods will be used including travel to WIC clinics throughout Tennessee, recruitment of research participants, outreach efforts, and other related duties as required. Candidate will develop and maintain good relations with WIC staff and administrators. This position requires some travel throughout Tennessee to train WIC staff in clinics, but will be based in Nashville. The position is funded by a USDA grant for a period of two (2) years.
