Responsible for the College of Engineering undergraduate recruitment plan in Lincoln and Omaha, the director will plan, implement and thoroughly assess and report recruitment and marketing initiatives. The Director will work closely with internal and external colleagues to increase the visibility of the College of Engineering degree programs to prospective domestic and international students. The Director is responsible for increasing the applicant pool, as well as increasing the number of enrollment deposits while being mindful of the quality and diversity of incoming class. The director will coordinate and script college communication to prospective and admitted engineering students by utilizing recruitment data and connecting marketing messaging with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system processes. The Director of Recruitment will work closely with all academic and administrative units associated with the College of Engineering, as well as the Office of Admissions and Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid to enhance and execute the strategic recruitment plan. The director will provide leadership and supervision of professional staff and student ambassadors who coordinate recruitment activities and events for the College of Engineering programs in Lincoln and Omaha. In order to meet the strategic recruitment goals for the university, this position provides additional support and feedback to the Office of Admissions.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Marketing, Student Affairs or Educational Administration plus 5 years of college recruitment and/or admissions experience with supervisory experience required. Extensive knowledge of recruitment, outreach, scholarships, and statistical analysis including trend reporting essential. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent leadership skills and ability to present information to a wide variety of audiences essential. Valid driver’s license required.
Experience with electronic recruitment (e.g. NUView, Talisma or SIS+ preferred.
