Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement Services, this leadership position within the Advancement Services department will oversee the Data Management team while providing guidance and oversight regarding the collection and use of data within University Advancement. This position is responsible for the acquisition, maintenance, and oversight of all University Advancement constituent records along with providing assistance to the University Advancement staff on how to utilize and understand this data. Our data is key to the University’s ability to grow and maintain relationships with each alum, parent, donor, and/or friend. Incomplete or inaccurate records can harm those relationships and their potential. As such, this position will collaborate with other university departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all records maintained within the University Advancement system. Finally, this position will lead efforts to grow and enhance the scope of our data in order to create a more complete picture of our constituents.
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university plus one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Skills Or Experience:
Experience working with a CRM, specifically related to data entry (both manual entry and data importing). Experience working with the Raiser's Edge NXT is a plus.
Experience working with query and export tools for data validation, segmentation, and reporting.
Must be experienced with Microsoft Office products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the Data Management team within Advancement Services.
Ensure staff have the appropriate level of access to our systems.
Work as a liaison with all campus departments to obtain accurate and complete information on student/alumni/parent involvement and achievements.
Verify and regularly audit the accuracy, consistency and completeness of the information maintained within the Raiser's Edge on all constituents.
Identify, plan for, and implement new data collection opportunities.
Lead regular information clean-up efforts.
Pull queries, exports, and reports from the Raiser’s Edge to support the team's efforts and/or to provide information to other campus departments as needed.
Perform data entry by hand keying and/or importing new or updated information.
Serve as a backup for the Senior Director of Advancement Services.
Other duties as needed or required.
