John Tyler Community College invites applicants to apply for part-time professional tutor positions to serve students in the Academic Resource Center (ARC) at both campuses. This position has a maximum of 29 hours per week and hours may vary. The professional tutors will work on the Chester and/or the Midlothian campuses to assist students in English and/or math and science courses. Professional tutors may work one-on-one with students or in a small group setting. Professional tutor will act as a resource for student tutors. Will work with staff to develop training materials related both to particular subject matter and to tutoring practices as a whole. Professional tutors will maintain a calm, tidy, professional environment.
