TheCounty Extension Administrative Support Assistant II is directly responsible tothe County Director. Time allotment will be approximately 5% Agriculture and NaturalResources; 5% Family and Consumer Sciences; 80% 4-H Youth Development; 10%Community Economic Development. Duties Include:
Provide leadership for a program of activitiesthat meets the needs of all eligible clientele regardless of race, color, nationalorigin, age, sex, disability, religion or veteran status.
Greet clients and answer telephone requests inaccordance with general instructions.
Prepare letters, newsletters, reports, recordsand other related documents from rough drafts, corrected copy, or recordedmedia; proofread completed materials and make corrections.
Gather and compile information as requested forfiles or reports.
Maintain all administrative departmental,personnel, and financial records using the UT system as well as the hard copyfiles.
Utilize the personal computer programs ofMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), SharePoint, Quicken and OutlookExplorer.
Inventory, order, account for, and maintain alloffice supplies and equipment, including but not limited to risograph, copymachine, adding machine, shredder, and laminator.
Compose routine letters and replies based ongeneral instructions.
Stay updated on all Extension Policy andProcedures and other resources.
Attend administrative training, seminars, andconferences as needed to perform the job.
Organize and manage the Extension office asrequested.
Assume other duties as assigned.
