Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic support program that increases student performance and retention in college level coursework. The SI Leader is trained in specific teaching and learning theories and techniques. The SI Leader attends all lectures for the summer courses and facilitates group study sessions during the EOF Study Institute for all EOF first year students. In addition, the SI Leader facilitates the summer reader seminar and the academic study skills workshop. The EOF SI/Tutor will tutor students in various subjects.

COURSE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Critical Reading and Writing I: Must have completed Critical Reading and
Writing I and II or College English and received a B+ or higher.
Critical Reading and Writing II: Must have completed Critical Reading and
Writing I and II or College English and received a B or higher.
Basic Math: Must have taken and received a B or higher in any college-level math course. Preference will be given to math majors/minors.
Transitional Math: Must have taken and received a B or higher in any college-level math course. Preference will be given to math majors/minors.
Must be available for summer staff training and the entire EOF Pre-Freshman Summer Studies Program & Training from June 24, 2020 – July 30, 2020.
Must possess a bachelor’s degree.
Must possess effective written, organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
