USC Human Resources Administration is looking for a Learning and Development Administrative Assistant to join the HR Innovations and Solutions team! You will be working closely with team to provide day-to-day administrative support for the optimization of workflows, development of experiences, and increase in accessibility to resources that unlock the potential of leaders, teams, and the organization. This is a highly collaborative and diverse environment, where you will play an integral role in fostering a learning culture within the HR community at the university. Â
Organize training resources and implement structures to increase accessibility
Manage requests for training rooms reservations and ensure that rooms are restored to proper order after each use
Maintain training rooms' equipment and work with IT and vendors on equipment maintenance needs (AV, smart desks, computers)
Maintain divisionâs database and related records
Coordinate events with thoughtful touches and creative ideas
Interact with internal and external vendors (AV, room scheduling, food, refreshments, materials, travel) for training needs
Interact with other departments to facilitate communications, ensures confidentiality when necessary
Research and gather data for presentations and departmental reports
Test eLearning modules to ensure proper flow and effectiveness of interactions
Assist in the development and creation of training material
Optimize workflows to increase agility
Maintain office equipment and purchases
Update websites, proofread communications, and ensure links work
Assist in budget preparation and expenses
Facilitate and prepare meeting minutes in a variety of inter-departmental meetings and councils
What We Prefer
Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, OD, L&D, I-O, or related field of study
Experience with Workday
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication and written skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Professional demeanor with the ability to adapt to last-minute changes
Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload by balancing speed and quality of delivered products
Demonstrated ability to coordinate events

Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, including senior management
