Under the supervision of the Health Science Division leadership, the lab assistant is responsible for the inventory, purchasing, and records maintenance of all Health Science Division equipment and supplies. This individual will utilize technology to prepare purchase orders and maintain inventory and records in compliance with state statutes. The lab assistant may also assist Health Science faculty in prepping labs for instruction and assisting with the breakdown of labs after instruction.
Associate Degree required
Associate Degree in health related field, Office/Business or Medical Office Administration
OSHA chemical or biological hazard certifications
Experience in one or more of the following areas: purchasing, fixed asset management, lab support/maintenance
Competency with Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.)
Extensive experience in one or more of the following areas: purchasing, fixed asset management, lab support/maintenance
