The Assistant Director will provide logistical support and direction for Orange Central reunion and homecoming weekend including the Alumni Awards program. This includes on/off campus venue scouting and research, as well as drafting key event documents. He/She will assist with reunion class gatherings, as well as data analysis for additional volunteer outreach and recruitment. The Asst Dir manages select milestone reunion volunteer committees, with the goal to increase event attendance and bolster class gifts and philanthropy. This position will assist with other unit events including athletic tailgates for football and men and women’s basketball, as well as some events across the country like academic and career programs. This position will also research speakers (students, faculty, and alumni) and maintain a list of preferred and engaging speakers to access for programs throughout the year. He/she will conduct geographic data analysis to help inform locations selection for programming. This position will dual report to the Executive Director, Events and Affinity Programs and the Associate Director, Affinity Programs and Reunions.
