The Department of Dermatology is seeking dermatologists and dermatopathologists with strong clinical skills and a sincere interest in teaching to join our full time faculty at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor levels. These are unique academic positions that provide protected time for efforts in resident and medical student education and scholarly activities. Clinical duties include supervision of resident clinics and participation in the department's faculty practice plan. The department's outpatient facilities include offices at the main campus of the UPMC Health System, and satellite facilities that provide a private practice setting. Dermatopathology duties include sign-out, teaching, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Pittsburgh is on the forefront of biomedical research, computing technology, finance and business, and is a hub of historical, cultural, recreational and professional sports activities. The region is both nationally and internationally known for its pioneering role in medical research and technology.
