The Department of Head and Neck Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA currently seeks applicants for a Surgeon - Scientist who specializes in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery.
Qualified candidates must hold an MD degree or equivalent, be board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology, and have or be eligible for a California medical license. Candidates must have completed an American Rhinologic Society accredited Neurorhinology/Skull Base Surgery fellowship and have demonstrated excellence in research, preferably with a track record of extramural funding.
Candidates should be fully engaged in providing state-of-the-art, patient-centered care. We seek an accomplished physician-scientist with interest in development of a rhinology and skull base research program, with a record of success as a cutting-edge clinician, effective educator, and respected scholar. Candidates should be enthusiastic about engaging in academically productive scientific inquiry, educating medical students, residents, and fellows, serving the university community, and augmenting one of the nation's leading departments. Academic appointment will be commensurate with experience.
