Essential Functions: The AA II/III will serve a leadership role and key member of the Kado Clinical Skills Center (CSC) team. The AA II/III of education will work closely with all members of the team to design and implement curriculum, assessments, faculty development and program evaluation that are aligned with or defining of national standards as related to medical professional skills development.Align practices for education and assessment with national standards for Standardized Patient (SP) methodology, medical professional skills development and evidence-based best practices in education.Maintain familiarity with best practices and advancements in research related to SP methodology, medical professional skills development and innovations in learning and assessment. In partnership with the Medical Director, map the longitudinal non-clerkship clinical training and education of medical students in collaboration with basic science and clerkship leadership.Oversee and facilitate the creation and implementation of innovative and integrated learning materials and methods to medical professionals-in-training, standardized patients, educators/faculty and staff members.Implementation of robust program assessment methods and practice for all programs.Implementation of program and program participant evaluation, assessment, certification and quality assurance. Standardization of program development, training and implementation processes. Collaborate with and lead faculty and staff to develop research activities and facilitate dissemination of these activities in the form of publications, presentations, workshops and posters. Collaborate with and lead faculty and staff in the identification of and submission for grants (both internal and external) and partnership funding opportunities. Participate in national organizations and conferences.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Master's degree required. Educational Leadership or other Education specialty.Demonstrated excellence in curricular reform/advancement (new learning programs), implementation and assessment.Demonstrated leadership skills. Experience in developing assessments and feedback processes.Experience in developing and managing digital learning for adult learners.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.Experience with quality assurance measures preferred.
