University Health Center is looking for a motivated, caring individual to join our team working Monday through Friday 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. in a healthcare academic setting. Oversee up to 7 custodians as designated by Facilities Assistant Manager. Provide services that disinfect surfaces and provided an aesthetically pleasing environment. Responsible for cleaning an assigned area (e.g. administrative, outpatient, academic or research setting) on a daily basis. Provide support to department colleagues under direction of managers to fulfill departmental and organizational mission, vision and values. Responsibilities include filling in for staff absences, supervising full-time regular and student employees, assist in custodial training, supply distribution and inventory control. Ability to transition smoothly from academic year schedules to summer schedules. Must have ability or possess the ability to learn basic computer skills; i.e., checking emails, using training modules, accessing personnel/employment benefits and other information. May be required to be on-call during non-scheduled hours.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school or equivalent experience plus two years of environmental service experience required. Experience leading other workers. Ability to use a computer. Ability to operate all types of custodial equipment and lift 35 lbs. Minimum of 18 years of age required. All applicants must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a DMV background check authorizing them to operate university vehicles.
Ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in healthcare or hospitality related environment.
