Work collaboratively as a key member of the Strategy, Planning & Engagement organization by managing activities related to communications, data analysis, and organizational effectiveness. Lead a variety of initiatives that provide data-based insights graphically and in writing to inform and/or communicate organizational decisions and perspectives impacting the organization and the NYU community. Create communications – email, documents, wikis, and presentations – to support critical communications of strategic and organizational priorities. Deliver practical and economical recommendations to new or changing business needs and recommend refinement and / or modification of business processes. Models and supports the NYU IT Core Beliefs in all aspects of work.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education: Experience in an academic or university setting.
Required Experience: 2+ years of experience coordinating projects within a large complete organization.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to collaborate and deliver effectively in a complex, large scale employment arena with multiple stakeholders spanning the organization. Demonstrated ability to create communications content and design efficiently and achieve the communications objectives. Excellent listening, written and verbal communication Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Strong ability to represent information and ideas using aesthetic graphs and graphics. Ability to identify, plan and execute approaches to gather meaningful data. Ability to work independently and within a team. Demonstrated effectiveness at cross-functional project / program management. Ability to manage and deliver on multiple priorities and tasks. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, results-driven organization.
