Doctorate in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology or closely related field. ABD will be considered. Degree must be completed by employment start date.
Ability to develop and deliver lab based manufacturing curriculum
Excellent communication skills
Evidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds
Experience teaching at the post-secondary level
Expertise in CAD/CAM and automation
Ability to teach undergraduate manufacturing engineering technology courses such as CIM (computer integrated
manufacturing), tool design, facility design, polymer processes, as well as basic engineering technology courses such as statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, materials, etc.
Experience directing student teams with industry projects
