The College of Veterinary Medicine is searching for a Systems Specialist/VIS Help Desk Specialist who will provide basic administrative support for the VIS team, resources, and services in support of teaching, research, clinics and outreach for college and the Veterinary Medical System. Responsibilities involve work in one or more of the following areas: submitting eRequests (ordering of systems), drafting and managing correspondence between customers via email, phone or walk-in, online chats with vendors to request warranty repairs, creating internal job tickets for questions, concerns or new equipment needing to be deployed. Assists with Wi-Fi and email setup on mobile devices. Oversees the department calendar including the scheduling of meetings for the team. Other duties as assigned.

Ability to lift 25 lbs. and climb ladders when necessary; potential exposure to animal dander.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; the ability to troubleshoot and resolve computing technology issues and deliver computer technology services with the highest levels of customer services; experience with collaborative and team-based projects.
Basic knowledge, appropriate training in Windows, Macintosh computer technology, including one or more years of experience in a related field; familiarity with higher educational environments; experience installing and configuring technologies for higher education.
Target Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 Hourly
