Responsible for the research, analysis, and implementation of business applications, support the virtual server / desktop systems, and the implementation / maintenance of the core NKU infrastructure (DNS, Microsoft Active Directory, Email, Print Servers). This position will also be responsible for development / maintenance of various system-wide functions across applications (e.g. automated software distribution, virus scanner consoles , etc).
Primary Responsibilities :
1. Software Administration (Patches, Upgrades, installation ...) 2. Systems Administration (Patches, Upgrades, installations, hardware upgrades ...) 3. Virtual Environment Maintenance 4. Client Support 5. Documentation 6. Experience with System Administration, Software Administration, server architecture. 7. Experience with windows servers administration in an enterprise environment.
The ability to detect small, often dimly-lit status lamps that must be checked frequently and audible alarms that must compete with considerable background noise
The ability to manage the complexity of dealing with many more software applications than the average user would, many of which have no special accommodations built-in
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Must be able to walk, sit, stand in small spaces for extended periods of time
Must be able to climb stairs or ladders
