Salary Range: Dependent on experience and qualifications
The Division of Radiologic Science, Department of Allied Health Sciences, UNC School of Medicine, invites applications for a fixed term faculty appointment with a Clinical Assistant Professor rank. Primary responsibilities are: 1) Teaching and learning assessment of students primarily in courses related to patient care, anatomy and physiology, imaging procedures and positioning, venipuncture, and health systems. 2) Participating in the clinical education program with visits to clinical sites and competency assessments 3) Participating in clinical trials activities of the Division 4) Scanning patients for body composition data (DEXA) Secondary responsibilities are: 1) Participating in Division recruiting and admissions activities 2) Coordinating the admissions, matriculation, and graduation of the students 3) Participating in Division strategic planning and ongoing operations
Education and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have three to five years of recent experience – clinical experience and teaching in classroom or clinical setting. Candidates must also technological experience with digital imaging and PACS system.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in participating in research clinical trials protocols. State and national presentations. Professional involvement on state and national committees. Publication record. Global health interest. Social media development experience.
