This position leads senior level recruitment for the division of University Advancement, interfacing with hiring managers, leadership, search committees, candidates, and others. Additionally, this human resources professional will lead efforts to create and maintain a positive culture by managing employee orientation/onboarding, the division mentor program, and facilitating learning and development opportunities for the division.
Typically a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development or related field or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of benefit regulation/policy changes.
Minimum 5 years professional recruitment experience, interfacing with hiring managers, search committees and other stakeholders. Experience with higher education clients and/or experience working in an institution of higher education is preferred, as is development recruitment experience.
The ability to work fairly independently, juggle multiple priorities, and exercise judgement and professionalism. Self-starter. The ability to develop strategy and tactics.
Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills. The planning and organizational skills to concurrently lead multiple searches.
