The Food Service Worker/ Dishwashers primary responsibility is washing and sanitizing kitchen wares in the caf. Additionally, this position is responsible for all recycling, garbage and compost handling. Other assignments will include sweeping and mopping floors, food prep assignments and occasional food serving from the service line. A current food handlers permit is required. The dishwasher will be in contact with ware washing detergents, rinsing agents, sanitizers, and degreasers. Experience with chemical safety and handling is preferred but not required. The Dishwasher must maintain adequate levels of kitchen wares and cafeteria trays during peak hours. A clean work station, well maintained equipment, efficient organization, a properly cleaned and sanitized dishwashing machine. Proper knife skills and knife safety for safe production of essential staple ingredients of the caf. Knowledge of kitchen equipment, Warmers, and walk-in cooler for occasional window coverage.

High School Diploma or GED
1 Year Dishwashing Experience

Food handlers Card or Servsafe certificate
