This Artist in Residence will be responsible for:
Working as an Artist in Residence, under general supervision and in accordance with established professional and departmental standards, methods and models.
Planning, designing and implementing art activities and programs for patients and families.
Teaching art techniques and supporting product development to share with family and a greater audience.
Collecting data from the interactions for quality improvement initiatives.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in fine art or creative arts.
3-6 months of teaching experience in art.
General knowledge of computers.
Excellent communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well-developed writing skills.
