The Department of Medicine, University of Washington is recruiting a full-time (100% FTE) laboratory-based investigator to join the Division of Cardiology. The successful applicant will be appointed to the full-time faculty at the University of Washington at the Research Assistant Professor level. Laboratory space will be available at the South Lake Union campus of the University of Washington.
The successful applicant will be expected to engage in atherosclerosis research, mouse echocardiography, and en face and cross-sectional atherosclerosis assays, as well as surface plasmon resonance experiments, apoptosis assays, and biolayer interferometry.
University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. This position has an annual service period of 12 months (July 1 – June 30) and is non-tenured. The anticipated start date will be June 1, 2020.
PhD degree or foreign equivalent is required. At least 7-years experience in molecular biology research is required.
