The mission of the IU Simon Cancer Center (IUSCC) Clinical Trials Office (CTO) is to support and facilitate the conduct of quality clinical research by IUSCC translational clinical investigators. The CTO is a centralized resource available to all clinical investigators of the IU Simon Cancer Center whose services enable the safe and efficient conduct of adult and pediatric trials. The CTO assists in protocol development, IND/IDE management and coordinates the scientific review of proposed trials by the Protocol Review and Monitoring System (SRC) of the cancer center.

The Clinical Trials Office is currently seeking a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator. The coordinator will serve as the IRB liaison for the IUSCC-CTO, provide faculty members and research staff with regulatory support to help them accomplish their research goals in a timely fashion and ensure that all policies regarding regulatory procedures comply. Additionally, the Regulatory Coordinator will serve as a liaison between the Clinical Research Office/Cancer Center and the various regulatory agencies under the supervision of the IUSCC-CTO Regulatory Manager and/or Management Team.
Bachelor's degree and two years of related office and administrative experience.
Combinations of education and related experience may be considered.
Comprehensive understanding of research requirements, policies and federal regulations. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information. Strong organizational and multitasking skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Working Conditions / Demands
Ability to move binders and be able to transport shipping boxes when filled for storage. Additional physical requirements include remaining in a stationary position at computer for long periods of time. Ability to commute around campus for meetings.
