Analyze all employment salary, and personal data received on the HR/Payroll transmittal forms (PAF, PDF, I-9, W-4, etc.,) in conjuction with the SAP Personnel Administration. Validate incoming materials for completeness and accuracy. Utilize independent judgement when applying UNL policies, federal/state tax regulation, INS (immigration) regulations. Train and assist UNL staff in the completion of the HR/Payroll transmittal forms and in the on-line navigation of SAP. Assist with reviewing and approving Foundation requests, managing garnishment payments, and entering special checks. Provide assistance to campus departments and UNL employees. Assist in other accounting functions and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate’s in business administration, accounting or related field plus two years payroll and/or accounting experience required; equivalent education/experience considered. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent computer skills in the use of word processing and spreadsheets necessary. Detail oriented, accurate and the ability to perform work in a timely manner necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or related field; experience in a higher education setting preferred. Experience with ERP and payroll preferred.
