The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, Department of Pediatrics/LAC+USC Medical Center is seeking a full-time, board certified pediatrician who is either board certified or board eligible in Child Abuse Pediatrics.Â Â The VIP is a public â private partnership that provides direct patient care, resident teaching and clinic research in the hospital and outpatient setting.Â Â As the first Family Advocacy Center in the United States, the VIP offers medical, mental health, forensic, legal and supportive services to victims of child abuse, domestic and sexual violence, and elder abuse.Â In addition the VIP has pioneered a series of âmedical homesâ for foster children.Â Â The VIP has taken the lead in building a unique consortium of services for the pediatric population collectivelyÂ known as âThe Medical Village â Pediatrics,â housed in a state-of-the-art renovated outpatient site adjacent to the new Los Angeles County â USC Medical Center. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the State of California.Â Experience with an underserved population is preferred.
