The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center seeks a Staff Associate. The Staff Associate must be able to perform molecular HLA typing using SSP and/or rSSO Luminxed-based method; and assign HLA class I and class II typing. Staff Associate must be able to perform serum screening of anti-HLA antibodies by CDC and solid-phase assay. Staff ASsociate must be able to perform cross-matching by both CDC and Flow. Staff Associate is required to serve on-call coverage for deceased donor cross-matching and capable to make independent judgment with minimum supervision.
