Instructors teach non-credit Continuing Education courses as dictated by program, course schedule, and enrollment demand. Instructors support students in achieving course outcomes through the utilization of teaching techniques effective with non-traditional students, including adult learners. Instructors may be asked to review student work during class and outside of class using assessment criteria provided by the Continuing Education division.
Two years of industry experienceorprior instruction experience in American Sign Language Experience delivering instruction to adult learners (may include internal corporate training) Ability to connect and build relationships with students and colleagues from varied ethnicities, ages, backgrounds, learning styles, and abilities Effective communication and written skills
