Description of Work:
Responsible for day-to-day operations and coordinating operational activities of Dr. Matthew Andrews' research laboratory. Provides advanced research, coordinates research projects and supervises staff. (Research will be focused in a laboratory environment.)

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related science plus four years of lab or related experience. Project management and/or supervisory experience. Experience working with tissue culture (eukaryotic) and bacterial cells. Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations. Prioritization, organizational, communication, and facilitation, recordkeeping, and computer skills. Ability to perform rodent necropsies and live animal surgeries on laboratory (mouse and rat) and wild caught (ground squirrel) species. Demonstrated ability to teach/train others.
Master’s degree in related science. Molecular biological experience including, purification of RNA, PCR (end-point and real-time), electrophoresis, and Western blotting.
Posted Salary: $44,500/yr. minimum
