The Division of Student Life at the University of Tennessee is seeking applications for a full-time Administrative Support Assistant III to work day hours at the Student Health Center. The qualified applicant must have a minimum of two years of office experience.

The U.T. Student Health Center is seeking a full-time Administrative Support Assistant. The position is a non-exempt hourly position. Duties will be carried out in accordance with established standards and ethics of medical confidentiality and as stated in the Student Health Center's policies.
Duties/Responsibilities: 1.To serve in the roll of assisting the Insurance Supervisor in disclosure of insurance information to students and the preparation of medical billing. *To effectively explain the insurance benefits available to students who have the U.T. sponsored student health insurance. *To determine eligibility of individuals who desire to become enrolled or waived out of the student health insurance plan. *To place waivers on student's accounts who do desire to accept the health insurance benefit. *To direct a student to the proper entity to resolve insurance questions. *To assist in the preparation of medical claims billing. *Maintaining a positive customer service approach to carrying out duties.
2.To provide assistance to the Immunization Coordinator regarding the acceptance and filing of immunization records.
3.To assist the Accounting Specialist in the preparation of the account payables and account receivables.
4.Responsible for administrative duties to support the Business Manager and other members of the Administrative Office. *Must assist in answering the telephone lines of the administrative office. *Must participate in the credentialing process for all medical personnel. *Must be willing to serve as a backup cashier and receptionist in the absence of the employee charged to perform this duty. *Must possess a team oriented and internal customer focus when performing these duties.
