IT@UC seeks to fill two (2) departmental positions for Collaboration Services Administrators. This position’s primary responsibility will be managing the University’s Office 365 deployment (hybrid) using Azure Active Directory Synchronization/Connector for 130,000+ accounts. Position will also support axillary systems associated to Collaboration Services such as SharePoint 2010, Exchange 2010, Barracuda Email security gateway and LSoft Listserv. The position will also assist with the design and deployment of the University’s new intranet and rollout of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive and other Office 365 productivity applications.
Office 365 tenant management - account provisioning, performance/availability monitoring, system integration, security, automation, and end user support. PowerShell experience is required.
Microsoft Azure AD Synchronization Service
Design, architecture, and documentation for on-premises productivity servers and Office 365 services
Escalated end user support via email, phone, web conference, or UCIT’s service management system (Team Dynamix)
The position is required to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation with three other administrators
Bachelor’s degree in computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a relevant 4-year degree -OR- an Associate’s degree with two (2) years’ experience; -OR- four (4) years’ experience.
Possesses working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures and contributes through support, using established processes, methods, and systems.
At least 1 year of experience managing and supporting a large Office 365 deployment, particularly Exchange and SharePoint.
At least 1 year of experience managing on-premises Exchange (2010 or later) and/or SharePoint (2013 or later); experience hybrid Exchange deployment with Office 365 is preferred.
Some experience with PowerShell scripting, Active Directory user/group management, Active Directory Federation Services, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and/or Skype for Business
Experience/training in advanced level experience working with specific types of hardware and software systems used by the university and demonstrate proficient experience/skills.
Familiarity with the ITIL Framework and ITSM concepts and practices
