The University of Pittsburgh Athletic Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of IT Support Analyst. This position will be a member of the Athletics IT Help Desk, which provides technical support for Athletic Department computers, mobile devices, and software systems.
The individual will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all hardware and software systems within the department and making recommendations on improvements as well as, diagnosing and resolving all help requests in a timely manner. The individual must be highly organized, highly motivated, and possess excellent customer service skills. The IT Support Analyst will also be responsible for providing solutions to problems that are consistent with generally accepted IT standards. To perform these duties effectively, the individual must be able to communicate with coaches, staff, and vendors in a respectful, professional manner.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science or related area and at least one year of full time experience. Individual will also be required to have a strong understanding of policies, procedures and generally accepted principles of information technology. Individual must be able to resolve unique problems by collecting and interpreting information to determine correct solutions. Must possess a strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, hardware and excellent trouble-shooting skills.
The individual must also have excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
At least 1 years of full time experience in a similar setting.
