Department Description The Main Operating Room has 24 operating rooms, Children's Surgery Center has 6 operating rooms and Same Day Surgery Center has 4 operating rooms. The majority of the surgical procedures performed tend to be complex. Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, patient care is provided to a wide range of surgical services including: Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Plastics, Vascular, Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Thoracic, Burn, Trauma, Gyn, Urology, Pediatrics, Transplant, and General Surgery. Required Qualifications - Experience working in a hospital unit or medical office. - Customer service skills. - Communication skills. - EMR Experience. - Transcribing physician orders. - Experience utilizing a multiline phone system. - Knowledge of medical terminology. - Intermediate computer skills. - Record Keeping.
