This position is a web development position for the New Technologies Development Group (NTDG) within Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) in ITCS. Primary responsibilities include full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) engagement and application development of enterprise-wide internet applications in support of the University's web portal environment.
This position has responsibility for planning, developing or enhancing, maintenance and oversight of technically complex computer applications requiring analytical and programming knowledge and skills. Primary job duties involve modern UI/UX design, architecture design, analysis, programming, integration, and testing of integrated enterprise systems spanning the entire university. This position will develop and maintain documentation for new and existing applications, effectively prioritize assigned tasks, and ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner. All work responsibilities should be performed with limited technical supervision. This position may require non-business hour support including evening and weekends, depending on the needs of the university.

Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) is responsible for the design, development, implementation, operation and enhancement of administrative computer applications for over 29,000 students and over 7,000 employees at ECU. Systems supported include Finance, Human Resources, Student, University Advancement, Document Imaging, and the PiratePort Portal. EIS works closely with central offices across campus, including numerous steering committees, to ensure administrative systems meet the needs of the university.
