Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D or equivalent degree. Candidates may be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics.
Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of residents, fellows, and/or medical students.
Clinical responsibilities may include patient care on any of the inpatient and/or outpatient General Pediatrics services.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include experience in quality, health services and outcomes, epidemiology, implementation and dissemination research, policy based clinical research, as well as medical informatics. Looking for a public health trained faculty researcher who has more than 5 years of experience focused on implementation and evaluation of maternal child health programs in healthcare environments, or in partnership with healthcare or public health systems.
