College of Arts and Sciences, Black Studies Program
The Black Studies Program will accept applications for the positon of Adjunct Instructor. This is a part-time, unranked position renewable on a semester basis based on positive student evaluations, positive review by the program director, and the needs of the program. The adjunct faculty member is responsible for course preparation and execution. This includes but is not limited to conceptualizing information to be taught for a specific course, creating and following methodology, and providing student performance evaluation. The adjunct faculty is responsible for creating a syllabus, teaching subject matter, and in some cases choosing required and suggested texts, workbooks, teacher's guides, and other materials used in coursework. The adjunct must create and/or follow program student learning objectives and program assessment requirements.
Master's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience.
Full Time/Part Time
Salary commensurate with experience, qualifications and course.
