Part-time adjunct instructors needed for teaching Chemistry courses for spring and fall, 2020. Courses include General Chemistry I & II, their laboratory courses, or Organic Chemistry Laboratory I & II.
An earned Master's degree in Chemistry from a regionally accredited institution.
A minimum of 18 graduate hours in Chemistry.
Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a culturally diverse, first generation college/university population. Â
Working towards or has earned Ph.D. in Chemistry, from a regionally accredited institution. Â
Broad training in chemistry.Â
Interest in active and collaborative learning, the instructional use of technology, and hybrid and online teaching.Â
Experience teaching a range of undergraduate courses in chemistry.Â
Experience with a non-traditional commuter-university setting.Â
Experience with a culturally diverse student body.
