Field Placement Coordinator: This is a 10-month position. The person in this position coordinates field experiences for students in the Education majors. This includes securing placements and the clerical management of an electronic tracking system also used for assessment of field experiences. Duties also include teaching face-to-face courses such as practicum/pre-education courses and supervising students in the field (8-11 credits). This person also oversees seminars, problem solves difficult situations, trains supervisors, and organizes orientations for cooperating teachers. In addition, this person will coordinate assessment in the education department by collecting data and working on reports, participate in prospective student visits, and advise a small number of students.

Required: Master’s Degree or EdS in education; relevant, successful K-12 teaching experience; ability to work effectively with college students; demonstrated ability to use Word and Excel; excellent organizational/detail oriented and collaborative skills.
