Assist Facilities Department Manager in the administration of the Facilities contracts.
Description of Duties and Tasks:
Ensure that contractors comply with Federal, State and College regulations and procedures through supervision, inspection and evaluation of contractors.
Assist in preparation of contract specifications, contractor meetings, and all matters relating to contract administration.
Perform inspections as required by contract (s)
Maintain flle of current safety-related policies and procedures. (OSHA, HAZMAT, Fire Safety, etc)
Exercise independent judgment in applying prescribed policies, procedures, and technical knowledge in these areas.
Maintain file of current safety-related policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications :
High School graduate or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Basic experience with maintenance concepts and general contract administration.
Experience with Housekeeping and Grounds contracts
Experience coordinating with contractors/vendors.
Any of the following degrees/certificates or equivalent: 1.AAS Contract Management 2.AAS Construction Management Technology 3.CPCM or CCCM Certification 4.FMP Certification 5.NVCC Certificate and Career Studies Certificate programs – Contract Management Certificate, Construction Management Technology: Construction Supervision, C.S.C.
