Advertised Job Summary:
This position serves as the HR Business Analyst to ensure optimal use of the University's PeopleSoft HCM system in coordination with other HR systems. Will collect, study and test information related to PeopleSoft HCM for optimal solutions. *Identify business needs and develop/write functional requirements for system design or enhancements, develop testing validation requirements for HR functional testing. Reviews/analyzes business process, workflow procedures, and job functions to provide insight and suggestions for improvements. *Document business requirements and work with both IT and business partners on appropriate design decisions. Responsible for queries/reporting, maintenance, administration, feature adoption, implementation/enhancements new modules, and user support for PeopleSoft and other enterprise HR applications. *Ensures integrations are working properly between various systems. Understands touch points between systems to troubleshoot and escalate issues when necessary and follows through to resolution. *As issues are identified, submit tickets to the HCM Support Team and/or other system vendors for fixes and follows through to closure. Tests system updates in appropriate environments, performing string, unit, and integration testing. Works closely with other HR Business Analsyts and appropriate SMEs for coordination of activities, and when testing and finalizing changes. *Respond to HR customers via service desk tickets, phone calls and/or email in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with the customer to understand their support or business requirements. Determine best solution to meet customer needs and follow through to resolution.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree and 2 years related program management experience, or bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience. Experience in support and maintenance of human resource information system(s).
