Reporting to the Director of Recruitment & Undergraduate Admissions, the Assistant Director of Admissions, under direction, provides leadership and vision recruitment staff, as well as oversees college and departmental recruitment efforts. In coordination with, and under the guidance of the Director, this position develops short and long range recruitment goals and objectives in conjunction with the university core values and strategic plan.
In support of enrollment goals and directives set forth by the Director, develops a comprehensive recruitment strategies consistent with the institutions strategic plans and oversees the execution of such strategies.
Oversees both on campus and off campus recruitment initiatives for the universityâ™s undergraduate and graduate programs.
Supervises, develops, manages and provides direction for the admissions counseling team with high focus on delivering excellent customer service to all prospective students through registration.
Oversees, develops, coordinates and delivers presentations for all major events.
Facilitates day-to-day recruitment activities including call campaigns, incoming calls and other office projects involved in meeting standard communication or project timelines.
Provides recruiting brochures, campus tours and general enrollment assistance to undergraduate and graduate prospective students in accordance with university policies and procedures.
Collects, maintains, and analyzes retention and recruitment statistical data on high schools, student profiles, and community colleges to enhance enrollment management efforts. Study federal and state regulations, demographic and employment trends to determine impact on enrollment.
Assists in the development of university recruitment materials.

Education and Experience: -Bachelorâ™s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Six years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: -Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Knowledge of College fair programs. -Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills.
Registrations, Certifications, and Licenses: May require a valid driverâ™s license or ability to obtain one within first 30 days of employment.
Other Requirements: Work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends. Travel required.
