The anticipated start date for this position is August 10, 2020.

Responsibilities: Teach courses in strategic communication, social media, and conflict management. Secondary areas of instruction include basic speech or speechwriting, media writing, and possible instruction in the candidate’s area of expertise. The successful candidate will teach in online, face-to-face, undergraduate and graduate environments, and will engage in research, service, advising and outreach activities. Typical teaching workload is 24 credit hours annually.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in communication or closely related discipline. ABDs with completion by August 2020 may be considered. Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication a must.
Desired Qualifications: Preference will be given to those with a background in strategic communication, social media, and health communication plus a record of successful teaching experience in higher education.
