Under the direction of the director of finance and in collaboration with the financial administrator, provides financial support and serves as information resource to faculty associates, center staff, and other affiliates. Distributes monthly and ad hoc financial reports for small grants, sponsored funds, and specially assigned projects; processes/approves vendor payments, reimbursements, bank wires and corporate card payments; makes frequent deliveries of financial paperwork across campus; manages PCARD review process; carries out a monthly reconciliation of transactions and makes necessary adjustments; participates in temporary payroll process, including time entry and approvals; maintains financial records internally and through the Harvard Depository. Other duties as required.

Three+ years of related office experience required. Education may count towards experience.
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Strong organizational skills, enthusiasm, attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently are essential. Experience with Oracle and/or other Harvard financial systems preferred. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
