10-week Summer Internship
LOCATIONThe student will work in the Union County Extension Office, Maynardville, TN at the University of Tennessee.Prior to starting the internship, interns will participate in a day-longorientation to familiarize them with Tennessee Extension Programs in ANR.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
A stipend in theamount of $6,840.00 for the 10-week internship is provided for each intern. Aswith any position, it is expected that an intern is able to get to and fromwork each day. Generally, interns ride with Extension agents during significantwork-related travel and therefore do not receive a travel budget allotment.
*Prepare an educational presentation and evaluate its impact
*Develop an economic analysis report summarizing farmers marketactivity
*Plan monthly educational children's activities at the Farmers'Market
*Perform clerical work to enhance current Extension Programs
*Attend Junior 4-H Camp and serve as a leader
*Assist Farmers Market Program Assistant to plan, develop, andimplement Farmers market promotional campaigns
*Evaluate, summarize, and report all program results
*Participate in farm visits, planning meetings, and other deliverymethods
*Work with Union County ANR/CED agent and county director, ShannonDeWitt, who will be the direct supervisor for the internship
