The Facilities and Event Operations Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing all administrative duties for the athletic facilities and event operations department, and will report to the Executive Associate Athletic Director for Capital Planning & Projects and Facility & Event Operations.
Duties include but are not limited to preparing University forms for payments, reimbursements, purchase orders, disbursements, travel and business expenses, assisting staff within this area of athletics with individual arrangements as needed for event operations and facility needs, managing appointment calendars, coordinating meetings, and other clerical responsibilities such as, answering phones and ordering office supplies. Special projects will also be a requirement for this position.
This position is responsible for the front desk management and first impressions greeting for Pitt Athletics in the Petersen Event Center. Ability to work in a fast pace environment is strongly preferred. Relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement as determined by the University.
Must be proficient with current technology including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience in a fast pace office is strongly preferred.
