ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 2, Center for International Studies-MIT-India Program , to perform a variety of administrative duties for the program. Will receive student applications; perform intake interviews; assist the program's managing director with the internship matching process; coordinate student travel arrangements, housing, insurance, and other administrative items with both hosts and students; serve as a contact point for interns; maintain intern files and update the intern database as needed; coordinate event logistics for training and organize other program events; process program financial transactions and reconcile accounts; maintain the program's website and social media; draft written materials and reports for the program; analyze student data for stakeholders; and perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED : at least three years' professional administrative/office experience; excellent organizational, customer service, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; meticulous attention to detail; strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; experience with organizing and hosting both small- and large-scale events; discretion and good judgment with confidential information; and technical proficiency with MS Office/Outlook and willingness to learn new programs and software as needed. Must be able to follow through on tasks; work both independently and as part of a team; and interact with a diverse group of faculty, students, staff, and corporate sponsors.
