The Senior Associate Director for Diversity Initiatives serves as the Office of Undergraduate Admissions' senior leader in the management of all initiatives aimed at finding, recruiting, selecting, and yielding a more diverse undergraduate student body. The Senior Associate Director will be responsible for the design and implementation of initiatives, programs, and trainings designed to improve the Universitys ability to enroll the most diverse and academically talented class possible.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree and
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in higher education administration or related field or equivalent combination of education/ experience.
Required Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in higher education administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience: Expert knowledge and understanding of diversity issues in higher education and experience working with multicultural programs and/or student populations.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills; exemplary relationship building skills with both internal and external constituents; and a driver's license.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of Slate.
